While the world around us has changed immensely over the past 50 years, the way we do change management has hardly evolved. At August, we've been testing a new, more effective way to do change management that makes it easier to continuously sense and respond to challenges and opportunities as they arise. This new approach is called Responsive Change. This new model approaches change management as a continuous process. Responsive change is based on four key principles: 1) make it easy to try new things; 2) make it easy to access and share information; 3) make it easy to learn what’s working and what isn’t, and adjust as needed; and 4) make it easy for people to contribute, regardless of who they are or where they sit in the organization. August has used this model to transform how some of the biggest organizations in the world do change management. In this presentation we will share what we’ve learned, and share specific practices that attendees can use to begin to change the way they do change, today!
