Home of the DC Chapter of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP DC).

The mission of ACMP DC is to connect and engage the DC metro area change management community to build knowledge, advance the discipline, and lead meaningful and lasting organizational change.

Announcing our new board members!

Join us in welcoming our new board members as the chapter transitions to a new board year. We are very pleased to be working with such talented and dedicated individuals!

Anne Havniear, Vice President

As a certified Prosci change management instructor/Certified Change Management Professional, Anne passionately champions meaningful ways to lead the people side of change. She is a Senior Change Management Strategist at the Department of Veterans Affairs where she has led change efforts across the 300,000-plus-employee agency to ensure America's Veterans receive the best outcomes. She draws upon her many experiences executing change across the VA where she developed and executed the first ever CM strategy for the Veterans Hospital Administration comprised of over 80 program offices and 160 medical centers. She also initiated a CM training program which has enabled 1500 new VA employees to receive training in Prosci’s 3-day change practitioner program.

Anne is a veteran, West Point graduate, and an Army wife. She believes in the power of networks and has built strong personal and professional networks all over the country. She would like to utilize her leadership experiences and change management knowledge to help enhance the mission of the ACMP DC chapter.

Stacy Dunbar, Director for PR & Communications

Stacy is an innovative, results-oriented change management professional with extensive professional experience focused on change management and the career development of others. She holds a Master’s in Education in Organization and Leadership and various certifications including change management, Human Resources, Leader Development, and project management. She is also an ICF certified coach. She has participated in change activities for startups, mergers and acquisitions, Fortune 500 companies, Government, Healthcare and Higher Education institutions. As a principal consultant at Avaap, she is responsible for change management, communications, and training on large-scale systems implementations across multiple industries. She loves watching others grow and coaching leaders to better position them to reach their full potential. As a motivated and action-oriented volunteer, she is a volunteer with ACMP global and the ACMP DC chapter where she has served as a speaker liaison for annual events.

Stacy lives in Richmond, Virginia. She currently volunteers with a dog rescue group and is a member of Richmond Professional Women for Good, a Women’s Giving Circle focused on fundraising and donating time and money to the local community.

Matthew Harrison, Director for Communities of Practice

Matthew is a certified change management and project management professional. He currently serves as a Business Development Executive at Collibra where he is the Director, Go-To-Market Enablement, responsible for integrating Change Management best practices into global field enablement, learning measurement, and strategy for Go-To-Market (GTM), Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Professional Services. In prior roles, he has led an award-winning global enablement program and Change Management standardizing role-based skills training and also transformed a training reporting team into an agile learning measurement and analytics function helping to drive to change adoption.

As the Director of Communities of Practice (CoP), Matthew will help offer and support delivery of activities-based models to connect real-world use cases, tips, and demos/examples of change management work in action for chapter members. He is specifically interested in these activities as they relate to the integration of program planning with change management and ways to integrate role-based skills learning measurement with change management. Matt is an active volunteer in the ACMP DC chapter supporting the Communities of Practice and contributing knowledge through the chapter’s speaker series.
